Hours after she wrote about her "nasty side" on social media, well-known Mexican TikTok celebrity Cindy Tamakz and four members of her family were found shot dead, according to reports.

Cindy, 34, and her 2-year-old son Gustavo were found dead in a jeep in Montemorelos city on the morning of September 30.

Along with the bodies in the jeep, a pistol, a shell casing and a mobile phone were found, and in a house not far from the vehicle, her two other sons, 11-year-old Bruno and 12-year-old Christian, were also found shot dead along with her partner Leodegario Moya, it was reported.

What was unusual was that hours before her death, Cindy posted a video filmed inside the car on TikTok, writing: "Nobody knows my nasty side. The kind of person who would burn down their own house just to watch a neighbor's house burn down, even knowing they'd get into trouble themselves."

Cindy, who had more than 70,000 followers, often portrayed a life of luxury cars, parties and a perfect family life on social media, and was reportedly involved off-screen in car and valuables trading, as well as illegal money lending and loan sharking operations.

Currently, Mexican authorities are examining statements from neighbors and security camera (CCTV) footage to uncover the truth of the incident, and are focusing their investigation on whether Cindy's money lending operations were connected to the family's deaths, according to reports.
