In Naypyidaw, Pobbathiri Township, Tabinshwehti Ward, it has been learned through investigation that two underage girls were repeatedly subjected to sexual abuse by their mother's boyfriend, due to the mother's own permission and coercion.

According to reports, Viola (pseudonym), aged only 13, and Gloria (pseudonym), aged only 8, were repeatedly sexually abused by their mother's boyfriend, U Win Bo, aged 50, due to the mother's permission.

While Viola (pseudonym) was at her mother's home in Naypyidaw, Pobbathiri Township, Tabinshwehti Ward, U Win Bo asked the mother for permission to sleep with her. The mother reportedly said, "Let him sleep with you," so that night she had to sleep with U Win Bo, and about two days later, she was sexually abused again.

Furthermore, U Win Bo took all three—mother and daughters—to Kan Lin Thit Guesthouse in Meiktila, where they went twice, once for about four days and once for about ten days, during which he repeatedly sexually abused them. He also took them to Yadana (2) Guesthouse in Tatkon, where they went twice, once for about five days and once during the ten-day Thadingyut school holiday, and he repeatedly sexually abused them.

Similarly, Gloria (pseudonym) was also sexually abused by U Win Bo at the home in Tabinshwehti Ward, and at Kan Lin Thit Guesthouse in Meiktila, where he tied her hands with a longyi and gagged her with a shirt while she was looking at a phone, and also at Yadana (2) Guesthouse in Tatkon.

During the sexual abuse of both sisters, U Win Bo reportedly threatened them, saying, "If your mother dies, I will make both of you my wives," and the mother herself also beat and forced them.

This incident came to light when a neighbor reported and sought help, and Daw Ya Min Aye (Naypyidaw Women's Affairs) from Zawana Dipa Ward, Pobbathiri Township, Naypyidaw, learned of it. She took the children into care and summoned the mother through the ward administrator's office to inform her.

According to the mother's statement, she stayed at Yadana (2) Guesthouse in Tatkon for over two days and met with U Win Bo, but she claimed that her two daughters were always under her watch and that there were no issues of sexual abuse.

Daw Ya Min Aye from Naypyidaw Women's Affairs filed a case against the perpetrator, U Win Bo, at Tatkon Township Police Station.

After learning of the case filed against him, U Win Bo fled and was arrested in the Shwe Nyaung area of Shan State.

The mother of the victims, Viola and Gloria, had previously been married twice, having Viola from her first marriage and Gloria from her second marriage.

The mother of Viola and Gloria visited her boyfriend, the perpetrator U Win Bo, while he was in custody, but currently, she is also facing a case and has fled.
