On the morning of October 16, near Wetkhami village in Thinbawzarap Township, a Shwe Sin Sinkya passenger minibus traveling from the direction of Ye town overtook a truck and collided with a motorcycle carrying two PDF members traveling close to the right side of the road, it is reported.
"It overtook a car and hit a motorcycle carrying PDF members coming from the other side. One died, and the other was seriously injured. That's why the driver has been detained; we don't know yet what the gate officials will do. I heard they are PDF comrades from the Peinnetaw village checkpoint," a driver said.
