Underage girl dragged into toilet and sexually assaulted in Kyauktan

It is reported that an underage young woman was dragged into a three-compartment toilet and sexually assaulted in Shwe Kone Ward, Kyauktan Town, Thanlyin District, Yangon Region.

It is reported that at about 8:30 pm yesterday, October 8, in Shwe Kone Ward, Kyauktan Town, at a house-line room at the corner of No. (9) Aung Mingala Road and Mya Thida Road, a 16-year-old boy dragged a 13-year-old girl into the toilet attached to the line room and sexually assaulted her.

"They live in the line room. His daughter went out to wash her hands and feet just before going to bed and did not come back, so her mother went looking for her. Since the door of one of the toilets in the line room where they live was locked from the outside, she became suspicious and opened it, and found her daughter inside. From there, upon questioning, the boy who lives in their line room said he had sexually assaulted her, so she came and filed a case at the police station," said a person close to the police.

The youth who committed the sexual assault is named Htet Pyae Aung, aged 16, and it is learned from a person close to the police that he covered the mouth of the 13-year-old girl, who was washing her hands and feet, with his hand, dragged her into the toilet, and sexually assaulted her.

It is reported that a case has been filed against Htet Pyae Aung, who committed the sexual assault, at Kyauktan Town Police Station, and it is initially learned that Kyauktan Town Police Station has filed the case as (P) 116/2026, major case No. (4/2026), under Penal Code Section 376, and has arrested him.
