Explosion near Myawaddy police station, two cars and motorcycle office destroyed by fire

An explosion occurred at around 1 a.m. early this morning, September 13, near the police station in Myawaddy town, Kayin State, in front of the Information and Public Relations Department office and near the hot water fire point, it is learned.

Although there were no casualties from the explosion, two cars and the motorcycle office at the hot water fire point were destroyed by fire, according to initial reports.

The joint team led by the military junta that seized power is conducting investigations at the sites where the explosions occurred, according to local residents.
