Naypyidaw - Police station and checkpoint on Magway road captured, including a major, 9 killed

The Shwepan police station and military checkpoint on the Magway-Kanpya-Myothit-Naypyidaw road were jointly attacked by battalions (903) and (803) from Operation Zone No. 2, Naypyidaw Regional Military Command, and were captured at approximately 3:45 AM on July 25, according to sources.
Due to the attack by revolutionary forces, including a major, 9 junta military personnel were killed, while others sustained injuries and retreated, according to sources.
After the attack, the Shwepan police station and checkpoint were burned and destroyed, and some weapons, ammunition, and cash were seized, it was reported.
In the camp seizure battle, the following items were captured: 3 MA-1 rifles, 1 MA-2 (light machine gun), 1 G-3 rifle, 1 40mm grenade launcher, 10 assorted magazines, 6 (14) mines, 9 40mm grenades, 9 hand grenades, 1 directional mine, approximately 200 assorted rounds, 2 phones, and about 3.5 million kyats in cash, according to sources.
Additionally, among the seized military equipment, there was one howitzer cannon, but it was destroyed due to difficulties in transporting it, it was reported.
The Shwepan police station and checkpoint, located on the border of Naypyidaw and Magway regions, are jointly manned by soldiers and police, with a strength of about 30 personnel, and are commanded by a major, according to sources.
