Two young people working at the "DONG PENG" plastic factory, located at the corner of Kyansittha Road and Sein Lae Kan Tha Road in Dagon Myothit (South), Kyansittha Yemon Industrial Zone (2), Yangon, have been missing with no contact for up to two weeks, it has been learned.

The two missing young people are Maung Zin Ko Htet, aged 17, son of U Maung Tway and Daw Kyin Than, from Zayar Hla village, Magyisu group, Nattalin township, Nattalin district, Bago Region, and Maung Thet Wai Phyo, aged 20, son of U Aye Lwin and Daw Aye Myint, it has been learned.

"We can confirm that they left work at the factory on August 25. Since the factory requires signing in and out, there is a record of them signing out. Around 7 PM they didn't return to the dormitory — they disappeared on the way, and we still haven't had any contact," a family member said.

The missing Maung Zin Ko Htet and Maung Thet Wai Phyo were residents of Room No. 187, Konbaung (5) Street, Ward 108, Dagon Myothit (East) township, at the Aye Chan Yemon dormitory, and a missing person report has been filed at Dagon Myothit (East) township police station, it has been learned.

Similarly, on August 12, Maung Wai Phyo, aged 20, who worked at the "Shin Shin" vermicelli factory in Nwe Khway San Pya village, Mingaladon township, Yangon, went missing on his way back from the factory on August 12, it has been learned.
