A man's body was found inside a car with cut wounds to the neck near the KKY office on Thibaw Street in Chanmyathazi Township, Mandalay, it is reported.

At around 7 a.m. this morning, October 29, a man in his 30s was found dead inside a car with cut wounds to the neck on the road lane opposite the KKY office, between the garden archway and the EV charging area, it is reported.

"It happened near the garden and the EV charging spot. People say he's from the 'Khan Gyi' beer station. They also say he's the nephew of an official from the Mandalay City Development Committee," a local resident said.

The deceased died with cut wounds to the neck in the driver's seat of a Honda Vanos car, and local residents confirmed that he was Ko Myo Thant (around 30 years old), the owner of the "Khan Gyi" beer station.

The deceased, Ko Myo Thant, sustained one cut wound to the right forehead, three cut wounds to the right cheek, three cut wounds to the left cheek, one cut wound to the neck, and one cut wound to the right arm — a total of nine cut wounds — and died, it is reported.

The body was transported to Mandalay General Hospital by a Ywar Bon social assistance association vehicle, and No. (11) Myoma Police Station has opened case (P) 155/2026 under Section 302 of the Penal Code and is investigating, it is reported.
