A Myanmar woman who had been missing for two days in Ban Pho district, Chachoengsao province, Thailand, was found dead, her body discarded in roadside bushes, according to reports.

The deceased has been identified as Ma Sandar Lin, 26, a Myanmar national working as a production worker at a nearby fish factory. She was found with a severe cut wound to her neck, clutching a handful of hair in her left hand, and her body was in a decomposed state, it was reported.

According to the victim's brother, Ma Sandar Lin went outside her room while on the phone on the night of July 25 and lost contact. Her brother and colleagues searched for her and tried to call her phone, but were unsuccessful.

On the evening of July 27, while returning to her room after work, a suspicious foul odor led to a search, and Ma Sandar Lin's body was found in roadside bushes covered with grass, it was reported.

Currently, Ban Pho police station has identified a missing Myanmar male coworker as a suspect and is working to arrest and interrogate him as soon as possible, according to reports.

Ma Sandar Lin's body has been sent to the police hospital in Bangkok for more detailed forensic examination, it was reported.
