Zabu (GAD) Collecting Money from Business Owners for GAD Anniversary

November 6

The General Administration Department in Zabu Thiri Township, Naypyidaw, is reportedly collecting money from business owners to hold a ceremony marking the 38th anniversary of the General Administration Department.

Since the 38th anniversary of the General Administration Department falls tomorrow, November 7, it has been stated that payments must be transferred via Kpay by today, November 6, at the latest.

The collection is being made from business owners who have been issued business licenses by the GAD within Zabu Thiri Township, Naypyidaw, and those who have obtained liquor licenses are reportedly required to pay more money.

Similarly, executive committee members of real estate agency organizations operating in Naypyidaw must each contribute 100,000 kyats in donations, while other real estate agents holding GAD licenses are also being asked to contribute 50,000 kyats each.

For payments, transfers have been ordered to Kpay number 09973944405 by today at the latest, and payers have been instructed to write "GAD" in the remarks.

Even in a place like Naypyidaw, the Union Territory, business owners are dissatisfied with a department like the GAD openly demanding money in this manner, and they have also urged higher authorities to be aware of the matter and to take action.
